GodSpotters hopes you’ll see the hand of God in adoption, families and more. Soon, you’ll find out more about our adoption ministry – words from adoptive parents, resources for couples interested in adoption, and help for those struggling with an unplanned pregnancy.
After experiencing the amazing joy of adoption, Michael and Emily Roten had the heart to start something fresh to speak to everyone about the need for adoption. Although just starting, GodSpotters will hopefully be a central meeting place for adoptive families, churches, pastors, and those who are in need of hope.
GodSpotters will focus on several areas:
Emily’s Blog: A chance to see insights from Emily about life as an adoptive parent, a follower of Christ, and simply a mother of 2 very active little girls.
Michael’s Blog: Not just for guys, but certainly a look into the life of an adoptive father. Michael’s Blog will also spend time looking to what scripture says about adoption and the need for it in our communities.
Resources for Adoptive Families: Helpful links to online resources from agencies and experts to help from the start of the “paper pregnancy” all the way to the “gotcha day” and beyond!
Pregnancy Help: A look at the hope that pregnant women (and their spouses, supporters or others) have through adoption (or any other support available to help them make informed and decisions that support life).
Resources for Pastors and Churches: Having both served in ministry (as pastor, church staff, ministry leaders and more), Michael and Emily have a unique insight on what it means to serve the body of Christ and have a passion for adoption. This section will focus on those specific insights and what churches and their leaders can do to promote adoption.
