Michael Roten is always searching. Inquisitive people are like that. But, thankfully, Michael’s search is to ways to help others. And, when he was blessed with adopting his little girls, he knew that helping others understand the need for adoption and what adoption really means would continually be one of his passions.
A North Carolina native, Michael has learned a great deal about people, acceptance, love and compassion over the years. Michael attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary for his Masters in Biblical Counseling where he began to understand more of how God’s love should impact our lives – especially as it relates to adoption.
Michael focuses a lot of his time on what scripture has to say about adoption, who people are and, more importantly, what they can become. He loves teaching, counseling and nearly anything that involves the creative process. You can follow along with his blog here.
